Saturday: Remodeling and Relaxing

Jake - My wife and I spend the day together remodeling our house. After we finished, we sat around and spend the day together cuddling. I don't want to go back to school because I don't want to leave my wife alone again.

Aww that was such a sweet blog, I watch the show on MTV and it reminds me alot of my husband and I only he's 2 years younger than myself.. He's also in the military and will be deploying to Iraq in 2 months so I know the pressure you two are under, the only difference is we have a child together. I just wanted to wish you guys the best of luck in life! Loved the show!

I know its hard to leave trust me my husband is a marine and just returned from Iraq. and we also got married "underage" but i just want to wish you luck and on those days that it all seems impossible remember that your not alone and its gonna work. We were told over and ver that we shouldnt get married and with the stress of the military on top but we are about to celebrate our 2 year anniversary next week! Good luck to you and God Bless you and your new wife!

Im watching your show on MTV right now. It's 12:30pm and I can't sleep and you guys are on my tv. That blog seriously made me tear up. I wish a guy would say that about me. You two are very lucky to have each other. Don't ever take that for granted. Good luck with the future.

Hey there... you guys are so cute together! Well.. I actually married my soldier 10 months ago and I was 18 by that time. We both knew about Iraq.. but we still decided to get married. Right now, he is in Iraq and well.. its hard. He just came home for r&r and girl, it was AWESOME. My highlights about deployment would be KEEP YOURSELF BUSY. GOod luck to both of y'all... Enjoy each other while you guys can.

From another USMC wife.

I watched your show several times, actually... I had recorded it on DVR because I did not want to miss your episode. It reminded me of my husband and I. We also got married underage. I was 19 and he was 21. We already had a son together. Everyone told us to wait. But we wanted to go for it anyway. He too was going off to war. Only, it was to the very first Iraq war, Operation Desert Storm. I'm not gonna lie to you, it has been a lot harder than we ever could have imagined. But also, the most fun and rewarding thing we have ever done. You won't like each other everyday, but as long as you love each other enough to see past those little things,(and big things),and work TOGETHER to make it work,it will work. If you want it too. It has for us. We now have 3 children and just celebrated our 17th wedding anniversary last August,(and people said it wouldn't last). I wanted to comment about that, but also to say that you, Jen, reminded me of myself when we first were married and before. I was laughing so hard cause it was like watching myself. And also, we also are currently stationed in Hawaii. We are at MCBH Kaneohe Bay. Good Luck to you guys. My prayers are with you both.

congrats and good luck... my husband is in iraq right now. he's from wheeler aaf. he was in afghanistan when i was pregnant and had our daughter about 3 years ago. we only got married about 8 months ago. i am a hawaiian born n raised here on oahu. he on the other hand isnt. deployment sucks, especially since army troops stay out longer than expected, but it will work if you want it to.
