Ashley and Josh: Wedding Excitement
I am so excited and I cannot wait to see our show. I think that it will be good and there will be a little arguing of course seeing the previews, but overall I think it will turn out great. I don't care what anyone thinks of us but it would be nice to see other peoples' reactions and hear what they have to say about it. It is weird to know that the whole world is going to be watching us!
Things are going great here. I do feel married and when someone asks me my name I say Ashley Grimes and it feels different; it is going to take a little to get used to. I had to go and have my name changed and get a new DL and that was cool-- the picture sucks on it though. But overall as a family we are very happy, healthy, and ready to see ourselves on MTV! I am very excited and loved that Josh is the man for me, he makes me and the family complete and I'm sure he would say the same thing about me. "Knock" on wood we have not fought yet and that feels great. I think since we are married now I really have nothing to worry about. I never did but now its official so nothing can stop us. I can't really say too much about the future because we can't predict what will happen but as far as the marriage, it will always stay great. We are a very strong family. A lot of good things have been happening to us and they feel like they keep getting a little better each time. We are so totally madly in love. Looking forward to hearing from you! -Ashley
" Married." What a thing. I never thought I would be happier than what I am to hear Ashley call herself Mrs. Grimes. To be honest, she still hasn't got it right, 'cause every place she calls to change her name she stills says Ashley Webb but then corrects herself, and I find it funny as hell. To be called a husband or to hear her refer to me as her husband instead of her fiance is a feeling all its own. I can't wait to see our episode tonight, but what I can wait for is the calls, e-mails, and text messages that we are going to be getting afterwards. Not to much has changed since the wedding, but our life was a married life before. I can say this: Ashley's attitude, and the sex life....WOW...complete turn around. Our kids-beautiful, I can't say anything 'bout them except that they are perfect. Other than that life goes on as usual, funny, happy, and all that I expected. Write back!- The Grimes

The two of you are so incredibly beautiful, as are your children. Of all the couples, you have the most chemistry - I could tell just watching you both, every time you met eyes, even when arguing, you both just glowed. Congratulations.
I can totally relate to both of you. I am a 21 year old woman with three children. I got married when I was 18 also. I already had 2 of our children and was pregnant with the third. The only thing that was different was everybody supported us because they could see what a great match we are together. My husband and I work very well together and we have made an awesome family. And I'm sure the show made things look alot worse than they really are. My husband was watching and said "Everybody on these shows never seem like they really want to be getting married. They always fight" but then like I told him, nice things don't make good television. lol. So I'm sure you guys will make it far in your marraige and family. Just always believe in yourselves. Oh yeah and Josh, let her go out sometimes. It really is ALOT of stress to be at home all the time. Even if she only goes to the grocery store BY HERSELF it helps. IT's hard to go from high school to being a full time mom and being at home all the time. :) so I wish you guys lots of luck and just brush off the negetive comments and be strong!

i want to say congrats and great to hear all is well the only comment i have about the part of the show i got to see is the parties. Be glad he was at the bar with family and friends and not at a strip club like alot of guys do!!! he was a good boy drank alot but went home like he should have.

First I want to address Ashley and I let her know that even though she is young you can really see how incredibly mature and intelligent she is, not to mention beautiful. It was so nice to see a couple that is TRULY in love. It is impossible not to see how much Josh really loves her and the family. I have much respect for you 2. Both of you seem to be doin just fine. good luck.I know how you feel i was 21 when i got married. we had a little 3 year old boy and i was eight months pregent. there was a couple of people aginst our wedding. but we dated 8 years before we got married. if you beleive it will last. your kids are cute.

I have been married since I was 18 and I am going to be 28. I too am a stay at home mom and know it can be rough at times. Hang in there! Josh give her a break when you can so she does not go into burn out!!!!
Every marriage has problems and your is no exception but it won't be anything you can't work through as long as you have COMMUNICATION, TRUST, LOVE and FORGIVNESS (I know from experience). Good luck and be strong. Marie

I just watched your episode online and I just wanted to let you know I know how you feel being home all day taking care of your little ones while your boyfriend is at work. I'm 18 also and I have a little girl who will be one next week and I'm a stay at home mom.... And it always seems like I spent all day busting my ass cleanin up but when I look around it seems like I have nothing to show for it! It is tiring being a mom! You have such a beautiful family! Hey Josh, I believe we both graduated from Boone. I think I was one year behind you. I am 21 and I just got married in October and I heard the same crap about being too young you all heard and it sucked. So I know how it feels. I really like that show, but i really felt that i had a lot in common with you all that any other couple. One i live in Lexington Kentucky and two i at 20 am raising a 8mos old baby. I am engaged to my boyfriend, but i feel confused and lonley for the fact that i am alone all day while he at work. I feel like i do everything. I am really Glad that you all went through with the Marriage...it's just i don't know if i should?!

hi..I can relate to your story also, I have 2 kids with my husband before we ever got married but marrying him was the best thing I ever did..I too was a pageant winner also..so what pageant r u decudidng to enter into?..it's not an easy road but keep strong remember communication is the key to a great marriage

Hey there. Congratulations! I swear watching you was like looking in the mirror. I'm 21 with 2 kids also and engaged. I know what it's like to be home all day with the kids and need some alone time. So I know that even time in the shower by yourself is precious time because it's just you and you alone. I'm sure your husband is good to you but tell him to be a tad better by taking the kids out for a while so you can have some alone time, or even ask your mom that's what i do. Being a mother myself I know that you love those kids with everthing but that you also need some time to yourself or you'll lose it =). Take care wish you the best.
