Army Wife Update

Well, Jake finally graduated his schooling and he is home! We have these couple days together before he leaves for PTA which is 2 weeks long. I cant wait for him to just be done with it all! We have a couple of answers to your questions....

1. Are we having kids? Yes- but we decided as a couple that it is better for us to wait until Jake is done with his tour in Iraq.

2. When is Jake deploying? Jake is deploying this November and his tour is 18 months long!

3. Do we have a myspace? Yes- our web address is www.myspace.com/zeuskr8zy. I also have a facebook account. Just look up Jennifer Koszewski.

4. How much time do we actually spend together? Well honestly... we never really have time together. If we are lucky..we have about 2 nights a week together. Next month we should have more time with one another, but us military wives know what to expect marrying a soldier!

5. Has Jake changed since we got married? Yes!!! He is more interested in the married life and spending time with only his wifey! I guess reality hit him and he realizes that we dont have much time together since he is deploying.

Hmm... I dont really remember anymore questions, but I think I answered the majority of them. Thanks for the support!! And check out our page!!

Hey guys! I just wanted to lend my congratulations and support. My husband and I will be married a year next month (we were 23). My hubby's a soldier as well. He left a month after our wedding and was gone for 8 months. A few months ago we PCS'd here to Colorado. I know how incredibly lonely this lifestyle is and it certainly dictates every aspect of our lives. But regardless of the tough times, there is so much pride in being a military wife to get you through each day. Best of luck to you both. Stay safe and G-d Bless!

Hey just wanted to write and say I loved your guys episode. You two look like the perfect couple to be marrying each other. I got married when I was 18 and I am celebrating my 3 year anniversary today. I have a 3 year old and work full time and go to school part time. My life is very hectic but I wouldn't trade anything! I am still in love with my husband just like we are newly weds. You guys will make it and pull through anything that comes your way as long as you are strong so will your marriage! God brings us together for a reason and he brought you two to each other so he had a reason that brought you together! Well wishing you the best and many more years to come!
Sincerely,
Lucy

Hey congratulations on the marriage! My boyfriend is also in the Army (been stationed in Germany for two years) He's deploying in July for 15 months. Being with a soldier is definitely a tough job! I can't wait to officially become a military wife. I have a question, on your episode you were already living in Hawaii with him before you were married. Did you just live off base or what? I think i'm going to add you on myspace. Good luck through the deployment! Stay strong!

Hi! I am also an Army wife stationed at Schofield... my husband has seen your husband around but doesn't know him personally. He is at PTA right now, too. I know it can be very lonely over here at times. You'll get used to the lifestyle quickly. Hang in there!

* I was going to leave you a message on myspace but it was acting crazy...I'll try some other time. I don't want to leave my info on here!

Hi Jen,

My name is Joanna (Jojo) and I have a boyfriend that is in the Marines. We've been together for over a year and my question is: what are some tips/advice you would give to a military gf that will some day go into the military life? I'm in my senior year of high school in Hawaii, while my guy is in Maryland for schooling. I plan to go to a community college in Hawaii and wait patiently for my guy to return. I would also like to say congrats to your guys wedding, stay strong, 'n' good luck!

much aLoHaz♥

Hey Ya'll! I'm actually 18 and engaged to a Marine. He and I are planning on having a wedding in 2009 after I finish my early childhood education degree :-) It's so nice to see a couple in the same boat as us! Everyone is always saying that we are way too young and that we have plenty of time, but I never know when he is going to get sent away. Thanks for the hope :-)
Love and prayers,
Brogan

Hey Jenn,

Not sure if you will read this but I just wanted to say "good luck." I am also an Army wife. My husband just got back from a year deployment and is about to leave again for 15 months. It is hard, believe me, I am sure you are figuring that out for yourself. Everyone tells you not to watch the news but it made me feel better, so do whatever you feel is more comfortable. Also, I am sure you have noticed, there are MANY military wives that are always ready to lend their advice. Like I said, Good Luck.

Hey,
My name is Tania and I am 19. I have been engaged for 3 months to my soldier. He is on in-active duty right now, but in four years he will be going back. I am so scared of rushing things. This summer we want to move in together and a few months later get married. We want to do a court wedding first then later have the church wedding. Any advice from military wives?
